My dear friends from all around the world, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Kampung Kiau Taburi, a small village located on the foot hills of Mount Kinabalu (which is about 4,095.2 metres). This is the highest mountain in Malaysia and Borneo, and our kampung (village) is about 1000 metres above sea level.

I started becoming a mountain guide since 2005 and until today, I have guided thousands of climbers to the top of Mount Kinabalu. I obtained my nature guide license in 2011, and became a bird research helper at the Kinabalu Park in 2013. I then started my birding activities and became a birdwatching guide in 2014 after participating in a birdwatching course, which was held at the Kinabalu Mountain Lodge. The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu. I have my very own jungle trail, jungle camp and camping ground, and I am delighted to guide you in your exciting birding adventures around Mount Kinabalu.
